# Chapter Imprint

Use for a concise chapter introduction followed by a photographic article spread. This is a parameterized HTML/GSAP composition rendered by HyperFrames, with a fixed 6.8-second sequence at 1920×1080 and 30 fps. It needs Node.js 22, FFmpeg and HyperFrames 0.8.30. Read `references/direction.md` before preparing content.

Prepare a JSON brief containing `heading`, `marker`, `article`, `note`, `caption` and `photo`. The photo must be a local PNG, JPEG or WebP that the user owns or may use. Paths resolve beside the JSON file. Keep rights records with the project. Optional `fit` selects `cover` or `contain`; `position` uses two CSS percentages. No sample photographs or finished movies are included.

Run `node scripts/create.mjs --brief /absolute/brief.json --out /absolute/new-project --theme kiln`. Choose `kiln`, `observatory`, `moss` or `graphite`. An optional `--font /absolute/font.woff2` overrides the supplied Manrope / Noto Sans SC fonts. Chinese selects Noto Sans SC automatically. Generated projects contain local dependencies, editable HTML and a brief record.

Run `node scripts/render.mjs /absolute/new-project /absolute/output.mp4`. Failures return a nonzero exit status. In that project run `npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.30 lint`, `validate` and `inspect` as supported by the installed CLI; inspect actual encoded frames and playback afterward.

The opening must retain angular scale-and-rotation settling followed by a separate ordinal. A pair of diagonal panels closes completely before changing scenes, then opens onto the photo and article. Keep the final reading hold static. Audio is intentionally absent; adding a soundtrack requires an authorized asset, editable timing and a real mix.

Text limits are explicit in the generator. Long allowed text may reduce heading size; inspect the final crop and type hierarchy. This landscape composition does not automatically create portrait variants. Build success does not establish visual acceptance or listening review.
