# Chapter Roam

Use for a chapter opener with a visible spatial journey. This is a parameterized graphic renderer: the JSON supplies the chapter sequence, selected destination, symbol choices and headline. It does not write a course or generate photographs.

Read [the input contract](references/input.md) and [the directing notes](references/direction.md). Use Node.js 22, FFmpeg and HyperFrames 0.8.30. Fonts and GSAP are local assets with their license notices. No account or model call is needed.

1. Author a fresh JSON brief using the documented fields. Give each station a distinct key. Keep the destination heading concise enough to read in the hold.
2. Run `node scripts/create.mjs --input /absolute/brief.json --output /absolute/new-project --palette tidal`. Choose `tidal`, `ember`, `blueprint` or `ink`; all share the same timing and geometry.
3. In the generated project, run `npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.30 lint .`, `npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.30 validate .` and `npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.30 inspect .`.
4. Render with `npx --yes hyperframes@0.8.30 render . --fps 30 --quality high --strict --workers 1 --output film.mp4`.
5. Inspect the actual film at entry, diagonal travel, focus pull and final hold. Verify the active title stays inside the frame, previous tiles do not cover it, and forward/backward seeking gives the same pixels. Play at 1× and record dropped frames separately from visual acceptance.

The project contains editable HTML, its brief, a build record and local resources. Regenerate into a new directory after editing the brief; an existing target is rejected. Pass `--font /absolute/font.ttf` for a font you may use; verify its license and actual glyph coverage. Chinese content automatically selects bundled Noto Sans SC. Unsupported marks, invalid destinations, excessive copy and unknown fields fail before output creation.

A flat camera plane carries all stations together. Keep this continuous movement when editing. Preserve peripheral tiles rather than dissolving the atlas. Only the destination reading block pulls into focus. Two light and two dark palettes are provided; the dark backgrounds have a static fine ruling. The quiet hold is deliberate.

The composition is 1920×1080 at 30 fps, default 7.2 seconds. It has no music or audio track. Add audio only with rights-cleared files and an editable timeline, then probe the mixed export. Landscape films scale down inside mobile reports; they do not reflow into portrait films. Do not claim listening, user acceptance or publication from successful encoding alone.
