# Chapter Tier

Use this parameterized generator for a compact chapter break. It accepts authored text, lays out the three levels, and produces a local HyperFrames project. It does not write a story from a prompt.

Read [the input contract](references/input.md) and [motion direction](references/direction.md). Supply a JSON file with `tag`, `index`, `heading`, and `support`. All four fields are required. Keep the message concise and purposeful.

Install Node.js 22, FFmpeg, and the locked renderer with `npm ci`. Then run:

```sh
node scripts/compose.mjs --input /absolute/brief.json --dest /absolute/new-project --palette linen
node node_modules/hyperframes/bin/hyperframes.mjs render /absolute/new-project --fps 30 --quality high --strict --output /absolute/result.mp4
```

The generator prints the actual renderer command. The output folder must be new. Choose `linen`, `inkwell`, `clay`, or `silver`. Read [local rendering and checks](references/rendering.md) before delivery. Fonts and GSAP are supplied locally with their licenses. Installing the locked HyperFrames dependency needs network access; project playback does not.

The composition is 1920 by 1080 at 30 fps for 7.2 seconds. A rectangular strip introduces the chapter, a heavy heading rises as one unit, and the supporting line wipes in. A faint large number remains behind the text. The final state holds without an exit. Dark palettes include a static fine grid. There are no raster, presenter, or audio inputs in this effect. A custom local font is optional through `--font`; verify its coverage and license yourself.

The saved HTML, brief JSON, timing JSON and assets remain editable. Inspect normal playback and native frames after edits. `window.__timelines['chapter-tier']` is the paused GSAP timeline; `window.__ready` becomes true after local fonts and fitting finish. Seek to zero as well as backwards across every reveal. Rendering success does not establish content approval.
