# Quote Tracks

Create a twelve-second comparison at 1920 × 1080, 30 fps. Each estimate opens with a horizontal reveal. Its amount and handle share one normalized driver. Scope lines arrive after the calculation; a second estimate follows, leaving both available for reading.

This is a parameterized renderer plus an authoring workflow. New briefs need layout inspection.

## Use

Requires Node.js 22, npm and Chromium supported by HyperFrames.

```sh
node scripts/install.mjs
node scripts/compose.mjs --brief brief.json --dest project --palette estuary
node scripts/render.mjs project film.mp4
```

Installation performs ordinary npm lifecycle scripts. Fonts and GSAP are bundled with notices; composition creation needs no network. Rendering uses strict HyperFrames validation and one worker. Do not bypass lint errors.

Read [authoring](references/authoring.md), [timing](references/timeline.md) and [dependencies](references/dependencies.md). Choose estuary, aubergine, clay or slate. No example media or audio is bundled.

## Inspect

Open generated HTML and use `seekFilm(seconds)`. Inspect entrance, travel, scope entries and final hold. Compare raw DOM independently from decoded RGBA at equal times reached directly, backward and forward. Check initial → end → zero, amount accuracy, endpoints, text bounds, full decode and actual playback. Technical validation does not establish visual approval.
