# Region Lens

Use an editable document-authoring workflow to make a complete raster document, identify a paragraph, and guide a ten-second reading sequence. Requires Node 22+, Chrome and FFmpeg, GSAP and HyperFrames. Install dependencies with `npm ci`. Set `HYPERFRAMES_BROWSER_PATH` and `HYPERFRAMES_FFMPEG_PATH` to installed tools.

Author JSON with `title`, `subtitle`, `publication`, `edition`, `sections` (2–4 heading/body objects), `focus` (zero-based paragraph index), `sideTitle`, `facts` (short strings), `documentFooter`, `note`, `footer`, `lang` and `palette` (harbor, clay, iris). Use original content or material you have permission to use. Keep annotation strings within 75 and 65 characters respectively. Review prose and layout; this workflow requires authoring, not automatic fact verification.

Run `node create.mjs brief.json project`. The browser captures the complete editable `document.html` at 1500 × 720 and measures the selected paragraph. `capture.json` records the freshly calibrated normalized rectangle. The still image contains baked-in text: changing annotation strings cannot change that text. Rebuild to change document content. Keep the editable document and capture record with the project. Do not label demonstration documents as external factual screenshots.

Render using `node node_modules/hyperframes/bin/hyperframes.mjs render project --output film.mp4 --fps 30 --quality high --strict --workers 1`. Preserve the complete document, four surrounding scrims, registered leader and two short annotations within one shared camera assembly. Establish context, identify the passage, hold for reading, then restore context. Adjust reading duration if the supplied language requires more time.

Inspect actual encoded native frames, forward/backward seeking, camera and connector geometry, and full 1× playback. Record raw observations separately from visible defects. The provided timeline is silent. Add licensed audio only with an editable audio timeline and actual encoded-track verification. Dependencies retain their upstream license notices; generated projects include required GSAP and font notices.
