An anime studio director in Tokyo just sent me a message at 2am his time One line: "I just fired my entire pre-production team" Twelve shots. One character. A martial arts sequence in a flooded temple with fire, water, and a 360-degree orbit shot that would take a real camera crew three days to rig Every shot was storyboarded by hand first. Twelve panels drawn in ink. Camera angle, lens, movement direction. All locked before the model saw a single instruction → Wide shot: observe, introduce → Close-up: immersion → 360-degree orbit arc → Top down: reveal turn → Low angle: stomp, impact → Floor level: flow ripple She punches. She spins. She lands in water and the ripple spreads across stone tile. Fire wraps around her hands. Her kimono catches the light differently in every frame because the light source is actually moving Same face. Same kimono. Same hair. Twelve cuts. Not one drift A sequence like this at a real anime studio takes a team of eight, four weeks, and a six-figure budget. This took one person, twelve panels, and Seedance 2.0 Anime studios aren't going to disappear. But the ones that survive will have three people doing what thirty did last year Studios will call this a threat. Solo creators will call this Tuesday Which side are you on?
