ANTHROPIC ENGINEER LEAKED A FILE WHERE OPUS 5.5 BUILDS A 20-SECOND ANIMATION IN 40 SECONDS - 12 RETRIES COST $0.24, NOT $120 a video model bills $0.50 a second, so each 20-second try is $10.00 and each retry pays it again post → one number → 600 frames → contact sheet → 3 fixes → back to the post time is an input here, not a clock the first 3 minutes are yours: a post, the one number in it, and a 1080 × 1350 canvas Opus 5.5 designs the page and writes one function, seek(t), that draws the exact second you ask for Opus 5.5 draws 0 of the 600 frames - a browser films them for $0 and ffmpeg glues them in 40 seconds $0.34 to write it and 12 fixes at $0.02 make $0.58, which is 207× under $120 3 springs settle in 0.37, 0.55 and 0.95 seconds, and 40 beats sit on a 120 BPM grid but the first render is only 70% good, and most people post that version and blame the model Opus 5.5 prints 1 frame every 2.5 seconds: 600 frames → 8 tiles → 3 flaws → 1 closed loop every render needs a critic before a budget - remove the sheet and the 70% one ships it gives you a loop that repeats exactly, it does not give you sound or a 12-scene film save this and paste it into Claude Code - let it build the studio from one post tonight ↓
