holy sh*t. same prompt, ChatGPT 6.1 Sol vs Opus 5.5. and the gap isn’t where people think it is. same prompts, zero edits, zero cherry-picking. Sol on top, Opus 5.5 on the bottom. clip after clip. a mammoth through the ice. an owl under the aurora. orcas beneath the floe. Sol did what Sol does: clean, bright, sharp. on its own you’d screenshot it and call it a win. then look at the bottom half. Opus didn’t just render the animal. it lit the scene. mist off the ice, weight in the tusks, the cold sitting in the air. Sol shows you the creature. Opus shoots the shot. and it’s not one lucky clip. it’s every single one. but “which looks better” was never the real question. so I ran the numbers on all of it - coding, reasoning, cost, video. who actually wins at what in 2026. that’s the piece I’m quoting I know which side I’m on. where do you land? Sol or Opus 5.5?
