Interesting work from @GoogleDeepMind GoogleDeepMind researchers showcased @Apptronik's Apollo 2 humanoid playing cornhole after learning the task from a video using Gemini 4. Leveraging advanced video understanding and reasoning, Gemini 4 built a virtual simulation in MuJoCo and calculated the physics and whole-body control needed for Apollo 2 to sink seven consecutive shots in the real world. This Video-to-Sim-to-Real pipeline can compress weeks of manual modeling into just a few hours, transforming ordinary videos into a scalable training ground for physical AI. #humanoids #humanoidrobotics #humanoidrobots #humanoid
